🌈🎉 Exciting Announcement! Join us for the Launch of the Michael Davitt Social Justice Flag! 🚩👥

We're thrilled to invite you to the Michael Davitt Museum on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 1 p.m. for a truly remarkable event! 🎉🏛️

In collaboration with Straide National School, we embarked on an incredible journey to pilot the first-ever Michael Davitt Social Justice Flag and its associated programme. 🌍✨ The aim of this initiative was to foster a sense of empathy, creativity, inclusion, and diversity while breaking barriers, all at primary level. 🤝🎨

Thanks to the generous support from Creative Ireland and Mayo North East Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) , talented artists were granted the opportunity to work on these important themes, engaging with the children in our local primary school. Together, they have explored the inspiring world of social justice and inclusion. 🎨❤️

🌟✨ To celebrate this momentous occasion, we present to you the exhibition, 'Creative Freedom: Saoirse Cruthaitheach,' which showcases the incredible artistic expressions of the Straide N.S. pupils based on the theme of social justice. 🎭🖌️ This interactive and inclusive art exhibition promises to inspire and ignite your imagination! 🌈🎨

Mark your calendars because from June 1st–14th, the Michael Davitt Museum will host this fully inclusive art exhibition, offering a thought-provoking and engaging experience for all. And for those seeking a unique ambiance, join us on Saturday, June 3rd, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for a captivating low light event! 🕯️😍
